About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our team at ExtraCare Charitable Trust. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in achieving maximum sales and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure high standards of merchandising and store presentation are maintained at all times.
  • Support the shop manager in promoting the Gift Aid scheme and adhering to company policies.
  • Assist in the day-to-day supervision of volunteers and assist in their recruitment and training.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store by maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements

  • Previous retail experience and knowledge of administrative duties.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • IT literacy and numeracy skills, plus good communication skills.
  • Able to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
