Exceptional Care Home Manager Opportunity

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care Home Manager to lead an exceptional care home based in the Great Yarmouth, Norfolk area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

A luxury care home, designed for resident wellbeing, boasts beautifully appointed bedrooms and expansive living spaces. Ensuring that every detail is meticulously crafted to provide the highest standard of care and living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage staff and resources to ensure each resident enjoys a dignified and fulfilling life.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Lead and the wider healthcare and hospitality teams to ensure the quality of individual service and care consistently meets high standards and those of external regulators.
  • Report to the regional Operations Manager, creating and leading a vision for the home to ensure a philosophy of continuous improvement, encouraging and supporting the home's journey to 'outstanding'.
  • Whilst managing people and processes, being a Home Manager is a complex, influential, and highly rewarding role involving close liaison with residents, their families, professional contacts, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience of managing a care home.
  • A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards, and the ability to work towards achieving Outstanding.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families, and visitors.
  • A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding-rated care home.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for developing high levels of person-centred care.
  • Ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service.
