We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Assessment Specialist to join our End Point Assessment team at NCFE, working in partnership with the NHS.

Main responsibilities

This is a critical role in supporting apprentices in taking assessments for their Assistant Practitioner qualification and grading their assessments. The successful candidate will have excellent professional skills and knowledge of the healthcare sector.

The ideal candidate will be based at the forefront of End Point Assessment, collaborating with Independent Training Providers, Further Education Colleges, and Employment Providers to drive valuable partnerships across the developing world of Apprenticeships and EPA.

Key duties and responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality End Point Assessments in line with the Assistant Practitioner Health Standards
  • Utilising NCFE's Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
  • Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
  • Communicating effectively with apprentices, ITPs, and employers on EPA and grading
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • At least 5 years occupational competency within the assistant practitioner health sector
  • Experience of producing clear and accurate reports
Qualifications and skills
  • A recognised Assessor qualification
  • Excellent IT skills and a full valid driving licence as travel is essential

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
