Quality Engineering Lead

Elevation Recruitment Group is looking for a Quality Engineering Lead to join their team in North Yorkshire.
Estimated salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional to lead the quality function and drive business growth through process improvements and cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Lead the development and implementation of Integrated Technical Procedures (ITPs) and Control Plans to ensure compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify quality requirements and integrate them into construction and fabrication processes.
- Manage non-conformance reporting and corrective actions, ensuring timely resolution of quality issues.
- Develop and deliver quality training programs to team members and subcontractors.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HNC in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a quality engineering role within heavy manufacturing or a related field.
- Strong understanding and experience in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma certification is a plus.
The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
