Job Opportunity

Merrifield Consultants is partnering with a heritage and conservation charity to find a Trusts and Philanthropy Officer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategy for securing funding from trusts and foundations, with a focus on small and mid-level trusts.
  • Manage a portfolio of donors to projects and appeals, and develop compelling proposals and applications for funding.
  • Work with the Development Manager to grow and maximize trusts income, and identify new trust and foundation prospects.
  • Collaborate with other teams to identify needs and opportunities for funding, and utilize events and digital engagement to thank current supporters and engage new prospects.
Requirements
  • CV and cover letter
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of trusts and foundations, and experience in fundraising or a related field
