About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our growing team at Fletchers Group. As a Senior Solicitor, you will play a key role in one of our Clinical Negligence teams, working on allocated cases, corresponding with customers and experts to ensure their cases are conducted in a proactive and commercially focused manner.

Main Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Provide support, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to customers, and proactively manage and progress cases in a commercial manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Team Leader and members of the team to ensure the delivery of the team's financial performance KPIs, and contribute to the development of the team's strategy.
  • Client Communication: Discuss and agree case tactics and planning with the Team Leader and members of the team, and negotiate settlement and issue proceedings as required.
  • Documentation and Correspondence: Oversee the documentation and correspondence produced by the team, and advise on any technical issues arising from cases.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8 years+ PQE or equivalent experience working in Clinical Negligence.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills, excellent communication and drafting skills, and strong commercial awareness within a legal environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work well with junior team members, providing coaching and mentoring, and flexible and willing to commit to achieving results and meeting deadlines.
