About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. As a Domestic Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our care homes, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas are cleaned to a high standard at all times.
  • Undertake deep cleans as required on a rota basis to include floors, soft furnishings, fixtures, fittings, windows, and walls.
  • Dispose of rubbish and report any equipment failure or maintenance issues in line with policies and procedures.
  • Comply with COSHH and Infection Control Regulations.
  • Show residents dignity and respect at all times.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humour.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to juggle priorities.
  • Previous experience in a cleaner or domestic role is desirable.
