About the Role

FCC Environment is committed to sustainability, and we are seeking a Recycling Services Specialist to help us achieve our goals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of customer service, encouraging reuse and recycling, and assisting with waste disposal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Recycling Centres safely and efficiently, following company procedures and policies.
  • Ensure site operations are conducted in accordance with Service Delivery Plans, contract requirements, and Health and Safety law.
  • Prevent unauthorized persons from sorting, disturbing, interfering, or removing waste.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in waste management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.

The estimated salary for this position is £11.44 per hour (plus overtime and benefits), 40 hours per week, shift pattern to be advised.
