Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this Consultant Psychiatrist role is £110,000 - £140,000 based on the national average salary range for consultants in the UK and considering the location.

Job Description:

This community-based post involves leading a collaborative team as a Consultant Psychiatrist at KMPT. You will provide high-quality care to vibrant communities in Deal and its surrounding villages, working flexibly and collaboratively with other consultants in the South Kent Coast Community Mental Health Teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical leadership within the South Kent Coastal Community Mental Health Team
  • Providing medical input as required to patients under care of the Community Mental Health Team
  • Strengthening relationships with external agencies, including the local CCG

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Suitable applicants will ideally have MRCPsych or equivalent and be on, or within six months of inclusion on, the Specialist Register. You must be fully registered with the GMC and have Approved Clinician status and S12 approval under the Mental Health Act (or achieve this within 3 months of appointment).
