We are seeking a highly skilled lawyer to represent our national digital, tech and data team at Womble Bond Dickinson. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of post-qualified experience in the digital technology space as a UK Solicitor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on complex and high-profile technology transactions, digital transformation projects, data protection and cyber security.
  • Working closely alongside our commercial team and various national sector teams to help businesses adopt and implement digital technologies.
  • Providing expert advice on contract strategy, data protection and other regulatory matters, and risk management.
  • Helping grow the work we do on multi-jurisdictional projects, including international transactions and projects, and secondments.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of post-qualified experience in the digital technology space as a UK Solicitor.
  • Demonstrated experience in a commercial environment, with a strong focus on Digital/Tech and/or Data protection.
  • Expertise in complex and high-profile transactions, including digital transformation projects, software licensing, IT Services, data protection and cybersecurity.
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills, with a genuine enthusiasm for the practice area and the aspiration to deliver a first-class service to our clients.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the digital technology market and be able to provide expert advice to our clients. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
