Job Description

We are seeking a Control Room Specialist to join our team in Warrington, UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production planning control systems, visualization, and reports.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the efficient operation of our production planning control systems, including PPS, visualization, and reports.
  • Coordinating with planned and reactive maintenance requirements and operational constraints to ensure continued efficient operation.
  • Providing technical and operational liaison between WITRON and our customers, responsible for managing, prioritizing, and escalating issues.
  • Performing performance analysis and optimization of our automated processes and production systems.
  • Creating and disseminating documentation and training materials to maintain high standards across the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • IT literacy, including knowledge of Production Planning Control Software (PPS) and MS Office applications.
  • Analytical thinking and a solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Visual dexterity and the ability to interpret data and flow.
  • Experience and understanding of processes and working methods in a logistics/automated environment.
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement quality and process improvement techniques.
