The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage a team of healthcare professionals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to residents.
**Key Responsibilities:*
* **Operational Management:** Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to all residents, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home.
* **Staff Leadership:** Recruit, train, and manage a team of healthcare professionals and support staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
* **Financial Oversight:** Manage the home's budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability, identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation.
* **Family and Community Relations:** Build strong relationships with residents' families, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction with our services, representing the home in the local community and maintaining a positive image.
* **Quality Improvement:** Continuously assess and improve the quality of care and services, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance the resident experience.
**Requirements:*
* **Qualifications:** Nurse qualified with an active PIN (RGN / RMN / RNLD)
* **Experience:** Minimum of 4 years of experience in a managerial role within a nursing home, with previous experience of managing a large-sized nursing home and a strong track record of CQC compliance
* **Skills:** Strong leadership and organisational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and in-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and quality frameworks
