About the Role


We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Theatre Healthcare Assistant to join our dynamic theatre team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. In this role, you will work collaboratively with registered nurses and other healthcare practitioners to provide high-quality care to children and young people undergoing surgery.


Main Responsibilities



  • Assist registered nurses with delegated clinical tasks, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
  • Work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and families, providing excellent customer service.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge and skills in accordance with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
