About the Role

We are currently looking to recruit a Managing / Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor with significant experience in Mechanical and Electrical systems to support and help grow our M&E cost management team in Bristol. This role provides an opportunity to grow and lead our MEP offering in Bristol, working with your peers across the business to provide best-in-class service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver full quantity surveying and cost management duties.
  • Provide pre and post-contract advice.
  • Ensure the highest quality service delivery to clients.
  • Provide high-quality MEP cost advice on complex projects across a range of sectors.
  • Guide, care, and mentor supporting staff.

  • Technical leadership: from providing stakeholders with specialized M&E advice to broadening your legal and technical knowledge and participating in training initiatives.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience of Mechanical and Electrical systems, their associated costs, and/or where such costs can be determined.
  • Demonstrable track record in the successful delivery of MEP cost management services.
  • Ability to advise clients on key MEP cost drivers, project costs, and value engineering.
  • Feasibility and cost planning, procurement advice, tender documentation, and post-contract services.
  • Effective and efficient knowledge of a range of project procurement options.
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
  • Experienced in client, consultant & contractor-facing roles and working as a member of a busy team.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
