Job Title: Charge Nurse - Forensic Mental Health

Vetro Recruitment is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at a 95-bedded forensic hospital in Abergavenny. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in managing a secure ward with patients under the Mental Health Act who have a diagnosis of mental health, personality disorder, and/or learning disability needs.

About the Role:
  • Location: Abergavenny
  • Salary: £41,475 - £44,648 per annum
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Sponsorships are not available at this stage
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the ward manager in managing a secure ward
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff
  • Develop and implement care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RNMH) with at least 2 years post-qualification UK experience in a forensic mental health setting
  • Valid NMC PIN
  • Up-to-date training certificates
  • UK Resident
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clean and clear DBS
