Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Professional to join our team at Hampshire County Council. This exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in delivering/supporting our Supported Internship and Pathways programmes.

About the Role

This is an excellent chance for a highly motivated and talented individual to work closely with vulnerable/SEN learners in an education or training setting. As a Learning and Development Professional, you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective and professional relationships with learners, taking a strength-based approach in supporting them to achieve their learning aims.

In class, you will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping learners complete tasks, applying sound coaching techniques to ensure they develop the skills to thrive as independent learners. You will also support Tutors to design and implement a learner's Individual Learning Plan (ILP), identifying and addressing gaps in knowledge, and providing numeracy, literacy, and digital support as well as in the workplace.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with vulnerable/SEN learners and excellent support skills. This post may require travel and work county wide.
