Job Title: Personal Assistant

Job Type: Part-time

Hours: 3 hours per weekend Saturday or Sunday

Salary: £13.00 per hour

About Us: Disability North is a charity that provides support services to people with disabilities.

Job Description: We are seeking a personal assistant to support a 13-year-old boy with special needs. The successful candidate will provide support and supervision in various settings, both inside and outside the home.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and supervision to the young person
  • Enable the young person to participate in activities that bring them joy
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the young person receives a high-quality service

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young adults with disabilities
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and enthusiasm
