Early Years Trainer or Trainee Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support a caseload of 45 learners across the Oxfordshire region, face-to-face and remotely
  • Deliver a range of award-winning qualifications
  • Create tailored solutions for learners to ensure they have the best experience possible and develop their interests and career
  • Utilise our e-portfolio system to effectively manage the learner journey

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary, with bandings ranging from £27,500 to £28,500
  • Up to £160 bonus for each learner referred
  • South Weighting available
  • A range of benefits, including 25 days holiday, flexible working, and enhanced maternity and paternity pay

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
  • Significant occupational competency in an Early Years setting
  • An assessing qualification (e.g., TAQA/A1/D32/33, CAVA) would be advantageous
  • A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS) would be advantageous
  • Experience in building and managing your own caseload
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT competent with working knowledge of Microsoft Office

What's Next?

Our interview process is tailored to each role and can be in-person or held remotely. You can expect a two-stage interview process, which will comprise a 30-minute phone call with the Line Manager to discuss the position and a one-hour formal interview, likely on Teams, where we will ask you to prepare and deliver a short microteach, shortly followed by competency and behavioural questions.
