TQR is looking for a talented Maintenance Technologist to join our team in Plymouth. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supporting site production facilities through proactive and reactive maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities:
  • Support site production facilities through reactive and planned maintenance of plant, equipment, and services.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment reliability and performance.
  • Perform fault finding and repair work using CNC Controls and PLC Ladder logic.
  • Lead PPM/TPM initiatives across the site, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • A recognized Maintenance Apprenticeship or relevant academic qualifications in an Engineering discipline.
  • Proven experience working as a Maintenance Engineer, with skills in fault finding using CNC Controls and rectifying faults.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including rotating shifts and occasional overtime.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of £43,301 (£32,643 + 20% shift premium), inclusive of rotating shift allowance. The role also offers opportunities for professional growth and development, as well as a range of benefits.
