Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Medirest, a leading provider of hospital services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and make a real difference in the lives of our clients and customers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present high-quality food to our clients and customers
  • Create visually appealing food and counter displays that meet our high standards
  • Proudly represent Medirest and promote our positive brand image
  • Manage transactions efficiently and operate the cash register with accuracy
  • Maintain the highest standards of Food Handling & Hygiene
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to Health & Safety guidelines

Requirements:

  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Previous experience in a similar catering role is beneficial, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key

Salary: Approximately £9-10 per hour based on industry standards and location
