Quantity Surveyor - Reactive Maintenance

Sector: Property Maintenance

Our client, a leading contractor in West London, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality refurbishment services to social housing projects.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and dispatching tender packages to subcontractors
  • Collating subcontractor tenders and awarding subcontracts in consultation with the Contracts Manager
  • Reviewing and approving subcontractor claims for payment in conjunction with the Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Liaising with subcontractors to resolve queries and assess cost variations to contract
  • Assisting with monthly cost/value reconciliations

To be successful in this role, you will require a BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in social housing projects. Strong computer literacy skills are also essential.
