Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Support Team Leader to join our team at Teignbridge District Council. As a key member of our Customer Support Centre, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, handling customer interactions, and leading a team of Customer Support Officers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the performance, coaching, and support of up to ten Customer Support Officers
  • Work closely with another Team Leader and their team to ensure consistent delivery and approach
  • Identify problems, suggest creative solutions, and implement service and/or process improvements
  • Utilize various systems to manage access and performance against KPI's, and accurately collate, analyze, and present data to various audiences
  • Implement safe information management practices and adhere to the principles of the Data Protection Act
Requirements
  • Experience within a multi-functional customer service environment at supervisory or management level
  • Ability to coach team members to ensure consistent service delivery
  • Knowledge of the principles of the Data Protection Act and safe information management practices
  • Ability to work in a hybrid and flexible working environment
