Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with NHS experience to join our multidisciplinary team at The Christie NHS FT.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessments of patients with complex physical, psychosocial, and cognitive problems.
  • Develop and implement goal-orientated interventions with patients and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with the senior physiotherapists to deliver a high-quality, efficient service to patients.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and modify Occupational Therapy treatment plans to measure progress and ensure effectiveness.

Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • NHS experience and previous post-registration experience.
  • Complex moving and handling skills, including hoisting.
  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and supporting junior staff members and students.
