**Senior Care Assistant Role Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our care home at Whitchurch.
About the RoleThis challenging and rewarding position requires strong leadership and clinical skills. You will be responsible for driving a team of Care Assistants, inspiring and developing them to excel in their roles.
You will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, personal care to our residents, raising the standards of care by leading a team of Care Assistants.
Key Responsibilities:- Raise the standards of care by leading a team of Care Assistants
- Support with clinical duties, including medication administration and accurate record keeping
- Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including shift handovers
- Develop and train new staff members
- Foster relationships with residents, families, and external teams
- Assist with personal care duties for residents
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Completed or working towards an NVQ3 in care, with support available for completion if needed
- Strong leadership and clinical skills
- Ability to inspire and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This Senior Care Assistant role offers a competitive salary and package, including:
- Estimated £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
- Annual allowance against Bupa healthcare products (£350)
