We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Import & Export Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic team based in the UK. As a valuable member of our Airfreight team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and service providers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate collections from vendors efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Utilize our proprietary Tango system to produce shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with UK HMRC regulations for export entries, maintaining accurate records and adhering to all necessary protocols.
  • Complete post-flight tasks accurately, ensuring seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Handle job file invoicing and cost control effectively, providing transparent and timely financial information to stakeholders.
  • Investigate and address customer and supplier queries promptly, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer invoicing, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Airfreight Imports & Exports, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide proactive export service, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong customer focus, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, with a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines, with a high level of organizational and time management skills.
