Job Overview
The Installation Specialist will play a key role in our customer-facing team, visiting various premises to install and maintain our equipment. This is a field-based position, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain our reputation by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving queries in a fair and courteous manner.
- Manage on-site customer interactions, ensuring a positive experience and achieving customer satisfaction.
- Clean equipment and surrounding areas after completion of site work, leaving the site well-presented.
- Handle challenging situations with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be responsive and cooperative, achieving required tasks and contributing to the team's success.
Health and Safety
The Installation Specialist will be responsible for carrying out all activities with proper regard for personal safety and the safety of colleagues and customers. This includes adhering to H&S regulations and procedures, reporting identified risks, and attending regular training and briefings.
Requirements
- Skilled in installing laundry and catering equipment.
- Knowledge of electrical and plumbing work.
- Proficient level of computer skills.
- Good knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal.
Experience
- Experience of working in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in a field-based role.
Personal Qualities
- Aptitude for practical work.
- Good attention to detail.
- Talent for solving problems.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
- Good time management skills.
- Flexibility in support of the customer and business needs.
Qualifications
- Full driving license.
- Recognised qualification in a Gas Safe environment.
- Recognised qualification in Electrical installation.
