**Job Title:** Senior Mechanical Design Lead

Employment Solutions seeks a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the development of innovative designs for major projects within a multi-disciplinary team.

Company Overview: Our client is a leading player in the Nuclear industry, expanding due to large projects won. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineers at all levels (Engineer through to Principal Engineer) to join their growing team.

Salary: The base salary for this role is between £38k - £65k per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description: As a Senior Mechanical Design Lead, you will be responsible for developing design concepts using Inventor, layouts, and detailed engineering documentation. You will ensure that designs conform to British and European Nuclear standards and meet client requirements. Additionally, you will manage designs within the constraints of project schedules and budgets.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for ensuring that engineering solutions are both innovative and compliant with relevant standards. A person with experience in mechanical system design using Inventor, working to tight deadlines, and managing technical risks would thrive in this role.

Location: Chorley

Working Hours: 4 days a week, Monday – Thursday, 9.5 hours per day. Hybrid working pattern.
