**Mechanical Engineer - Nuclear Industry**

Employment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in the Nuclear industry. This exciting role involves leading the development of innovative designs for major projects within a multi-disciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and a passion for engineering excellence. They will be responsible for developing design concepts using Inventor, layouts, and detailed engineering documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring designs conform to British and European Nuclear standards and meet client requirements.
  • Leading a small team of design engineers or working independently, as required.
  • Producing design justification reports that address technical risks and safety concerns.
  • Managing designs within the constraints of project schedules and budgets.

In return, you'll receive a competitive salary of between £38k - £65k depending upon experience. A Nuclear or Defence background is essential.
