As a Specialist Podiatrist, you will play a key role in developing care pathways and utilizing a range of routine and specialist podiatric techniques to provide high-quality patient care.

Main Job Responsibilities

  1. Provide specialist podiatry treatment to patients with diabetes and complex vascular wounds within an acute secondary care setting.
  2. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive specialist assessment, diagnosis, planning, treatment, and implementation of podiatric care.
  3. Develop and implement new care pathways to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care.

About the Role

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust provides services to West Cheshire and Welsh patients covered by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. We work collaboratively within the wider Cheshire and Merseyside Health and Care Partnership.

Person Specification

  1. BSc (Hons) Podiatric Medicine or equivalent.
  2. HCPC registration and evidence of continued CPD.
  3. Experience in high-risk wound management and postgraduate professional training.
