Career Teachers is seeking a skilled Functional Skills Instructor to join our team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) College in Southwark. As a Functional Skills Instructor, you will teach employability skills to students with various learning difficulties and disabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Functional Skills and employability lessons from Entry level to Level 2
  • Working collaboratively with other organisations to deliver outreach programmes
About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or alternative teaching qualification, recent experience of teaching students with special education needs and barriers to learning, and be able to plan effective employment educational programmes for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities including SEMH.
