Italian and Spanish Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Italian and Spanish Tutor to join our team at a prestigious college in East Sussex. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach and demonstrate practical language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop engaging language lessons in Italian and Spanish that cater to a range of abilities.
  2. Teach and demonstrate effective language skills, with a focus on fluency and enthusiasm.
  3. Provide guidance and support to students, fostering their growth and confidence in the languages.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and innovations to enhance learning experiences.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in teaching Italian and Spanish, with strong subject knowledge and fluency in both languages.
  • Previous experience as a Language Tutor or similar teaching role, preferably within a college setting.
  • Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English.
  • Certification in language teaching or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £19 per hour, along with the opportunity to work within a supportive and professional college environment.
