Are you a passionate and skilled language educator looking for a part-time teaching position? We have an exciting opportunity for a Language Instructor to join our team at a highly regarded college in East Sussex. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging language lessons in Italian and Spanish, catering to a range of abilities.

Position Details:
  • Job Title: Italian and Spanish Tutor
  • Location: East Sussex
  • Hours: Part-time
  • Start Date: ASAP (pending interview)
  • Contract Type: Temporary (potential to become permanent)
  • Pay Rate: £19 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality language lessons in Italian and Spanish.
  2. Teach and demonstrate practical language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  3. Provide mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to students, fostering their enthusiasm and fluency in the languages.
  4. Stay informed about the latest teaching techniques, resources, and innovations to enhance learning experiences.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in teaching Italian and Spanish, with strong subject knowledge and fluency in both languages.
  • Previous experience as a Language Tutor or similar teaching role, preferably within a college setting.
  • Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English.
  • Certification in language teaching or a related field (preferred but not essential).
  • A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one.
