Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence and Analytics Professional to join our team at Leo Burnett.

The successful candidate will be responsible for deciphering and translating complex datasets from social media platforms and other sources into compelling narratives that inform strategic and creative decisions.

The role involves:

  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyse and interpret data from all social platforms to uncover trends, patterns and sentiments.
  • Data Storytelling: Craft narratives from data insights to convince others, creating visually engaging presentations, reports and dashboards.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyse industry trends, competitive landscapes and emerging technologies to anticipate shifts in consumer behaviour and identify growth opportunities.
  • Performance Tracking: Analyse the success of our social content on an ongoing basis, defining whether it meets set KPIs and suggesting opportunities for improvement and optimisation.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as social listening tools, web analytic tools and social networks native analytic tools.
  • Detailed analytical skills to turn complex data sets into simple, compelling narratives.
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team of strategists and creatives.
  • An enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an insights or social insights department or agency.
