Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stroke Medicine Registrar to join our team at the Royal London Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing medical cover to our 26-bedded stroke unit.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with acute stroke, including thrombolysis and stroke referrals. They will also be expected to work effectively with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and contribute to the development of our stroke services.

Person Specification
  • Primary medical qualification as recognised by the General Medical Council (GMC) and current Full Registration with the GMC
  • MRCP UK or equivalent
  • Familiarity with the major principles of the GMC's Good Medical Practice, including Good Clinical Care, Maintaining Good Medical Practice, Teaching and Training, Appraising and Assessing, Relationships with Patients, and Working with Colleagues
