Job Overview

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Stroke Medicine Registrar to join our team at the Royal London Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing medical cover to our 26-bedded stroke unit.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical care to patients with acute stroke, including assessment, diagnosis, and management. They will also be involved in the development and implementation of stroke care pathways, as well as participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in stroke medicine, who is able to demonstrate excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a primary medical qualification as recognized by the General Medical Council (GMC) and be registered with the GMC. They will also have MRCP UK or equivalent, and be familiar with the major principles of the GMC's Good Medical Practice.
