We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planning Engineer to join our team at TUI Airline. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the maintenance of our wide-body fleet, ensuring that our aircraft are airworthy and meet the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage base maintenance work packages for our wide-body fleet, taking into account our maintenance philosophy and optimizing fleet availability.
- Assist in organizing maintenance slots in collaboration with our strategic planning team, maintenance organizations, and local flight scheduling departments.
- Liaise with TUI E&M or outsourced maintenance organizations, supply chain, and engineering departments as needed.
- Support various entry-into-service, phase-in/out, winter lease, and other projects across our engineering and maintenance departments.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in aeronautics or a related field. You should have a bachelor's degree and preferably 1-3 years of experience in a similar position. You must have excellent business English skills, both spoken and written, and be proficient in standard IT applications such as MS Office.
We value a proactive and solution-oriented approach to work, with the ability to manage priorities and work to demanding timescales. You should be independent, flexible, and able to work in an international environment with multicultural teams. Aviation experience is a must, and you should be willing to travel internationally as needed.
