Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and quality expertise in domestic federal taxation, with a focus on implementing tax strategies that align with client business objectives.
  • Train and develop staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality tax services.
  • Lead and manage complex engagements, communicating effectively with clients and service teams to ensure seamless delivery of tax services.
  • Drive growth and profitability in our tax practice by generating new revenue, cross-selling, and expanding services to clients.
  • Interact directly with clients, handling questions, planning, consulting, and other tax-related matters.
  • Build relationships across lines of business to ensure excellent client service through an integrated service approach.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA, JD, LLM, or EA certification.
  • 8 or more years of public accounting experience or equivalent in law firms or industry.
  • Ability to support financial growth efforts and manage a book of business.
  • Experience with S-Corps, C-Corps, or Partnerships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven record of managing multiple projects and engagement teams for various clients.
  • Project management and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to generate new business and extend service opportunities.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Experience in dealing with international tax matters.
