The Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Project Controls Engineer to join our expanding Transport and Utilities business. As part of this role, you'll lead a cross-discipline Project Controls team on medium-complexity projects or programs, working closely with project management to communicate project performance and influence stakeholders.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Defining project scope through exclusions, assumptions, interfaces, and dependencies, and coordinating scope decomposition.
  • Establishing a robust Performance Measurement Baseline and managing change control processes.
  • Working with suppliers to integrate and analyze their performance data.
  • Performing schedule recovery planning using schedule optimization and critical path analysis.
  • Ensuring scope, cost, risk, and schedule integration and alignment.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A professional background in project controls, with experience in at least one discipline (planning and scheduling, cost estimation, cost management, risk management, or reporting).
  • An understanding of integrated project controls disciplines and the ability to assess team maturity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing stakeholders and leading teams by example.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about project controls and has a strong track record of success in this field. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication and leadership skills. A salary of £60,000-£80,000 per year is available for this role, depending on your level of experience.
