About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist to join our team at The Willow Learning Trust. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and students, ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving IT issues and ensuring that our systems are running smoothly.
  • Support the management and maintenance of our school networks, including installing and maintaining software systems as required.
  • Maintain computers, Whiteboard, and projectors, ensuring that they are in good working order.
  • Install and maintain software systems as required, ensuring that they are up-to-date and secure.
  • Support staff and students during lessons, providing technical assistance as needed.
  • Maintain internet access, websites used, and permissions granted, ensuring that our systems are secure and compliant.
  • Maintain user accounts across systems, ensuring that access is secure and compliant.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and end-user problems, providing technical support as needed.
  • Supervise and run the connection to the Internet, ensuring that our systems are secure and compliant.
  • Manage and develop the use of iPads, including related apps that support learning in the schools.
  • Undertake periodic safety checks on equipment and materials, reporting findings to the Network Manager.
  • Work with teachers to develop IT skills across the curriculum, providing technical support as needed.
  • Manage anti-virus software, ensuring that our systems are secure and compliant.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about IT and has a strong desire to learn and develop their skills. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be working in a proactive and demanding environment, with a strong emphasis on learning and development.

You will be responsible for providing technical support to our staff and students, ensuring that our IT systems are running smoothly and efficiently. You will also be working closely with our Network Manager and other technical staff to ensure that our systems are secure and compliant.

We are looking for someone who is a fantastic collaborator, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working in a team environment, providing technical support to staff and students, and working closely with other technical staff to ensure that our systems are running smoothly.
