Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant
Job Summary:
Culina Logistics is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. As a Financial Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post weekly and month-end journals and assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Control the cash book, credit cards, and expenses, and perform yearend and audit tasks.
- Complete daily Cashbook postings, bank reconciliations, and deal with queries.
- Prepare and post General ledger journals, and prepare PSA reconciliation and analysis for review.
- Responsibility for set Balance Sheet Reconciliations, and post weekly and monthly Payroll journals and Salary prepayments or accruals.
- Prepare Monthly VAT reconciliations, and assist with the preparation of Monthly Group Reports.
- Support year-end analysis, reconciliations, and Group submissions, and assist in supplying information to Auditors for annual audit.
- Supply data for Tax analysis and assist with queries from the Muller Tax team, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual returns for the Office of National Statistics.
Requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure, and to a tight timescale.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to working in order to meet the requirements of the business, particularly at peak periods during the year.
- Ability to communicate well at all levels within the business.
- PC literate in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
