Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Facilities Management Category Team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies and plans for goods and services to deliver first-class value for the business and protect it from risk.
You will work closely with internal customers to understand their business drivers and needs, and provide recommendations on how to meet them. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of strategy for the goods and services category to meet internal customers' needs, provide savings, and manage risk.
As a Procurement Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of logistics and delivery through smart, sustainable purchasing decisions. You will work collaboratively with other members of the procurement team to make the most effective use of resources available across the procurement functions and ensure the maintenance of accurate and complete electronic records.
About YouTo succeed in this role, you will possess and be able to evidence the following skills and experience:
- Background in a supply chain related area (preferably in the FM Category).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to build sourcing strategies and gain buy-in to their implementation.
- Experience of program & change management.
- Studying towards the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) or willing to.
