About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our fundraising team as a volunteer. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in administration, fundraising, and event planning.

The successful candidate will work closely with the head of fundraising and the fundraising team to assist with various tasks, including:

  • Administration tasks to support the fundraising team.
  • Supporting income-generation functions, including individual giving, event fundraising, trust and foundations grant-making, legacy marketing, and corporate giving.
  • Processing online shop orders, researching new partnerships, and assisting with ad hoc research tasks.

A competent understanding of Microsoft Office and good English skills are required for this role. An interest in the Armed Forces and/or disability is a plus. This is a voluntary position with expenses claimable according to Blesma's policy.

The role requires in-office work based in Chelmsford, Essex, and reports to the Head of Fundraising and managed by the Fundraising Team. The estimated salary for this role is £12-15 per hour.
