Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated individual to support social workers in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality services that promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of children and young people.
About the Role
To deliver high-quality services, you will collect, record, and analyse relevant information using management systems to ensure statutory responsibilities are fulfilled. You will also ensure the well-being and safety of children and young people by analysing necessary information to complete assessments that comply with statutory requirements. Additionally, you will provide practical day-to-day support to children and their families as directed.
Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- A basic understanding of social work practice.
- Familiarity with the legislative framework applicable to working with children and families in a statutory setting.

- Ability to work flexibly with local and wider teams.
Salary and Benefits
£16 per hour.
