Job Title: Shop Floor Scheduler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Shop Floor Scheduler to join our team at Safran Landing Systems in Gloucester. As a Shop Floor Scheduler, you will be responsible for generating and managing detailed schedules in respect with the Master Production Schedule. You will participate in the MPS meetings and work with our various departments to reflect this detail in the ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage detailed schedules in respect with the Master Production Schedule
  • Participate in the MPS meetings and work with various departments to reflect this detail in the ERP system
  • Run and maintain Load and Capacity reports and analysis for production leaders to identify capacity issues and allocate priorities accordingly
  • Review work order scheduling messages against MRP recommendations and integrate the impact of Non-quality and FAI's into order schedules accordingly

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Production planning fundamentals (MRP2 principles, e.g. APICS)
  • Knowledge of problem-solving and continuous improvement tools (LEAN)
  • Familiarity with ERP usage and working knowledge of production process flows
  • Knowledge of Messier-Bugatti-Dowty's Quality System
  • Ability with office software
