Job Title: Assistant Social Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Social Care Worker to join our team at Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in our care.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our service users. As an Assistant Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care and support to individuals with complex physical, mental health needs, and/or symptoms of dementia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care and support to individuals in our care, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Support individuals to maintain community links and achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and supervision to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and maintain necessary qualifications and registration.
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and support, with a strong commitment to person-centered practice. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Experience of working in elderly care is an advantage, but not essential, as we provide comprehensive training to support your development.
