Veterinary Clinical Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and logistically-minded Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Floor Coordinator at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists in Hampshire. This fixed-term contract role will commence from October 2024 for a period of 12 months, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position at the end of the contract.
The Clinical Floor Coordinator will play a crucial role in the effective and efficient running of the clinical floor across all referral disciplines in the hospital. This includes Anaesthesia, Cardiology, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, and Orthopaedics & Soft Tissue Surgery.
Reporting to the Clinical Nursing Manager, the Clinical Floor Coordinator will be responsible for planning the day's referral procedures, leading the teams to complete their individual work flows as scheduled, and ensuring the clinical floor runs effectively and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Referral Hospital environment, a commitment to prioritizing animal welfare, and excellent communication skills.
