Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Immigration Enforcement Officer to join our team as a Crime Prevention Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in addressing immigration crime and making a real difference in the lives of communities across the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating and prosecuting individuals who seek to benefit from illegal migration. This will involve working closely with partners in the National Crime Agency and policing agencies to take action against those who break the law.

As an Immigration Enforcement Officer, you will have a varied role that requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role
  • Conduct investigations into suspected immigration offenders
  • Collect, preserve and record evidence
  • Arrest suspects and execute search warrants
  • Interview witnesses and suspects

You will also be required to undertake shift work, including nights, mornings, late finishes, weekends and public holidays.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full manual UK driving license
  • High mobility and fitness
  • Ability to undertake and pass a medical assessment
  • Willingness to undergo paid training and development
Benefits

As an Immigration Enforcement Officer, you will enjoy a competitive starting salary of £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. You will also receive a Civil Service Pension with average employer contribution rates of 27%, flexible working options and a culture encouraging diversity and inclusion.

In addition, you will be eligible for an Annualised Hours Allowance (AHA) up to 49% depending on location and role, subject to regular review.
