Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiographer to join our team as a Band 7 Rotational CT and MRI Radiographer. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative environment, rotating through CT, MRI, and x-ray departments, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality imaging services to patients, including CT, MRI, and x-ray examinations.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participating in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies, and applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A DCR (R) or BSc Diagnostic Radiography qualification.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Knowledge and experience of NHS targets and care pathways.
  • Experience in specialized imaging techniques, such as CT and Interventional Radiology/Cardiology.
  • Experience using PACS and RIS systems.
