About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Social Worker to join our team in CAMHS. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work directly with children and families who have complex social care needs alongside mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a clinical caseload where you will co-ordinate care planning and take part in the duty rota where a more immediate response from families or referrers is needed.
  • Offer advice and guidance on risk and safeguarding to the team, completing assessments of risk and referring to the social care teams where needed.
  • Forge and develop collaborative working relationships with partner agencies to promote high standards of clinical practice when working with all young people and their families/carers.
  • Support families experiencing acute distress and provide excellent communication skills.
