About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Child and Family Social Worker to join our team in CAMHS. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work directly with children and families who have complex social care needs and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold a clinical caseload and coordinate care planning for families with high social care needs and associated emotional distress.
  • Participate in the duty rota and provide a more immediate response to families or referrers as needed.
  • Offer advice and guidance on risk and safeguarding to the team, completing assessments of risk and referring to social care teams where necessary.
  • Liaise with relevant agencies to deliver comprehensive packages of care for families with social system needs.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure delivery of high-quality care for families with complex needs.
